The Remaining. Making FOMO feel exactly as bad as it should.

Everyone knows the fear of missing out. We asked what happens when it stops being mild regret and turns into dread. The Remaining follows Helmi through a night where reality slowly cracks, and every character she meets is a mirror of what she can’t escape: guilt, fear and the need for answers. Part thriller, part horror, part absurd comedy, the trailer was shot in a single 12-hour day with Laura Birn, Martti Suosalo, Aamu Milonoff and Karim Rapatti, and grew into a short film of its own. The film closes on one line that works both as a hook and as an invitation to get out and go to the festival: you can still choose.
